Miracle Baby
Hi Everyone, I know it has been a while since the last post but, as you can see: something very unexpected literally popped up in our lives. The week I was anticipating scheduling my next MRI--I realized that the new weight gain around the middle looked suspiciously baby belly like. It was absolutely out of my consciousness that I could possibly be pregnant however as I was tested extensively in the hospital. Apparently, it is routine to test a woman for pregnancy before each MRI (at least that is what I was told) and it was brought up several times that they were testing me--so, I made peace with the reality that I was definitely NOT pregnant while in the hospital. Now, after surgery~I fell and injured my tailbone and I absolutely assumed it was not safe to even think of getting pregnant for years after a diagnosis like mine--so, of course I could not be pregnant! 2 ept tests and then off to Planned Parenthood and Birthright (just to be sure)--4 positives later and a visit to dear Dr. Carol Phillips and we heard a heart beat--it is true~in the midst of all of this~we have a baby! Of course, immediately my mind went to the anesthesia, the cat scan, pet scan, MRI's, and drugs I had to take around this surgery-- it was so scary to imagine the baby dealing with such challenges. Fortunately, I believe this little one was magically protected with all the love coming to me/us during this time and the sonogram last week showed us the baby is doing well!!!!!!!! Thank You All for your continuing prayers and Love~we created a Miracle!!!!!!!!!!!
